    These are OS specific vendor app stores only w/o any mention of 3rd party app stores such as Getjar.  It looks as though Apple pioneered the space, which is laughable. Getjar was started in 2004, and distributing apps in 2005…a full 3 years before Apple did. http://blog.getjar.com/developer/getjar-vs-apple/

    Would be interesting to know how an apk search engine for Android apk apps fair in comparision to the online a
    pp stores.
