There have been rumors of a native Twitter for BlackBerry client floating around for some time now. We haven’t heard much about it lately, however, CrackBerry.com has come across what possibly could be the first recognized tweets from the Twitter for BlackBerry client being worked on by Research in Motion.
In the image above note that each of these tweets comes from an application named Twitter for BlackBerry. Clicking on the application name takes you to http://blackberry.com/twitter. This page currently lands you on a 404 page, however, one can envision that being the url for an official Twitter for BlackBerry client once released.

yeah i think it’s pretty obvious now that they are about to release the twitter client. signature looks exactly like the one for facebook. and the url.. i guess we’ll be seeing it up and running very soon. which is awesome coz twitterbery ( openbeak ) is horrible, well my own experience at least. i hope this native twitter client will run much smoother 🙂
Well you do have other ‘better’ options other than TwitterBerry. You have UberTwitter, it’s free, simple and loaded with Twitter features. And you also have TweetGenius which isn’t free (doesn’t cost much either) but it looks great and probably has the most features any twitter fan would want wrapped in a beautiful shell. Check them out and see for yourself. I personally use TweetGenius.
What is that horrible UI? For BB users sake sure hope that these are not the first official twitters for BB client. Wow that outdated, obsolete BB OS is really showing it’s age.
