If you are in the market to get a new AT&T BlackBerry Torch you aren’t going to find a deal much better than this. Pick up the AT&T BlackBerry Torch 9800 for just 1¢ on Amazon.com with a new 2-year service agreement. AT&T just dropped the price of the Torch in AT&T stores to $99, but, there is no point in paying more than you have to. You can’t do much better than $0.01 for a new BlackBerry Torch, and, Amazon is offering free 2-day delivery. 1 penny for the BlackBerry Torch, Research in Motion’s flagship device is not a bad deal… Not a bad deal at all…
Head over to Amazon.com to get more information on the 1¢ AT&T BlackBerry Torch…
Can I do this, and then immediately cancel the account and switch it over to Verizon? I have a sweet deal- my parents pay for my contract- and I certainly don’t want to screw that up. I have a Curve 8530 and let’s just say it leaves more to be desired…
There are two reasons why you should not.
1. The BlackBerry Torch is a GSM phone and Verizon is CDMA. (Torch won’t work on Verizon)
2. You would have to pay an ETF (early termination fee) to Verizon that would cost you more than if you were to just buy the Torch outright without a contract.
Thanks Robb. I appreciate it.
