Research in Motion hasn’t really been keeping BlackBerry App World a secret, however, you will notice that if you head over to http://www.blackberry.com, App World is now featured on the BlackBerry homepage.
I wonder if we will start seeing new BlackBerry devices shipping with BlackBerry App World pre-installed, or, at least a launcher for BlackBerry App World?

I purchased a BlackBerry Storm a couple weeks ago and it has App World pre loaded on it.
It’s not the same appworld as the 1 you download from RIM and you can’t choose apps from the appworld store. It’s the carrier specific appworld.
“carrier specific appworld” WHAT? The four orifices are controlling RIM’s appworld now too? Is not crippling and removing functions from RIM’s BB’s enough?
Finally RIM, but did it take 2 billion downloads for action?

I think so. I’m doing my part. I’ve downloaded at least 2 applications from BB App World in the past few months… and I’m seriously considering downloading a third one!
Wouldn’t it be nice if Blackberry App “World” worked in countries other than those in America or Europe?
I totally agree with Graeme. How can you call it App “World” when it only works in 10 countries?
Why is RIM’s App “World” restricted to only a few countries?
