BlackBerry Desktop Manager Software version 4.7 was just released. It’s a big download and seeing how I soon will have it on a CD, will probably wait until I get my new BlackBerry Storm.
If, however, you want to check it out for yourself, you can download it here.
why won’t blackberry make a desktop manager of mac. Pocketmac is terrible. !!
RIM is working on a native Mac client that’ll allow us (Leopard) users to do OS upgrades, compress with Media Manager and all that other fun stuff. Be patient, young grasshopper.
Instead of announcing a version change, why don’t you go through what has made 4.7 better than say, 4.5 or 4.6… Come on guys, you’re supposed to be my end-all BlackBerry addiction source. Let’s not talk about the fact that I’m also a Mac user who is still connected (Parallels Desktop) to the Windows world for OS upgrades.
Are there any Canadians out there listening? Native Mac client — and step on it!
I just tried to download and went through the whole proces and at the very end when i went to click on “download” it said that it has been taken down temporarily.
actually here is what is says: “We’re Sorry…
* Sorry, the file is temporarily unavailable, please try again later or contact the webmaster.”
I tried to download it at 11:53 p.m. EST and the download is working.
It took forever to get through the usual screens, enter your personal info, etc., swear that you’re not going to give the information to North Korea and that you haven’t had your export privileges suspended by your government, and now it’s downloading (slowly, but it is downloading). Fresh off the presses (or out of beta) today….
Musings: I always said I’d never buy a new car until it had been out for at least a year, until the all the problems were all worked out.
