I have been using a BlackBerry for about 7 years, but, I have just decided to give Android a shot. I’m going to get an Incredible this coming weekend. I’ll use it until the 9650 comes out and determine then if I want to upgrade my Tour or just completely switch to Android.
I, too, will be sporting the Incredible come Thursday, but have always been a BB Pearl fan. By far my favorite BB simply because it is so small and I can fly on the SureType keyboard. So tempted to get one, but since it’s coming out on AT&T/TMO, I’m going to have to patiently wait until it hits big red. Until that day happens, I’ll get the 9650 for now and deal with it.
I have the original BlackBerry Storm but have decided to move over to Android. I had a Curve before, but, don’t think that I could go back to not having a full screen on this Bold.
My girlfriend has a Tour and I don’t really like not having the full screen on it and it looks like the Bold is almost identical to it.
Maybe I’ll come back if that slider comes out on Verizon…
My incredible, to be replacing my Blackberry Tour, is on the FedEx truck and will be delivered today. I am a longtime Blackberry user, and will miss some aspects of my Blackberry, but RIM is losing their way in my opinion. Other manufacturers are passing them by. I will suffer without my Blackberry keyboard, but I will adapt. Android has a lot to offer.
If it doesn’t work out I can always go back.
I am officially an ex-BB user. Deactivated my Tour and activated my Incredible (that arrived one day early). Going to take some time to get it all figured out. Especially configuring outgoing SMTP on non-google accounts. That is always a pain on non-BB devices.
