So, did you just get a new BlackBerry for Christmas? Here is a great list of 10 BlackBerry applications that you should check out if you did.
- Poynt — All in one local location based search
- Google Maps
- Pandora — Internet music streaming app
- BerryReader — Fully synced Google Reader client
- Evernote — Cloud based note taking application
- DropBox — Cloud based file storage and sharing application
- Tether — Use your BlackBerry’s data connection to get your laptop on the internet
- KaGlom — Bubble Popping / Tetris style game
- Google Mobile App — Adds Google voice search to your BlackBerry
- BerryBuzz — Adds custom alerts and LED colors to your BlackBerry
Good luck fitting ten apps on a Blackberry.
If your BlackBerry is as old as dirt then memory may be an issue, but, if you have anything that came out in the last year or so, memory isn’t an issue at all. I’ve got over 50 apps installed on my Bold 9780 with no problem whatsoever.
Dude, not all of these applications are free… but still kind of a good list…
@Snoballz – You have obviously not owned a Blackberry in some time, or have an extremely old unit. I have a ton of apps on my Torch 9800, and they load and run with no problem.
I’d add Crunch SMS to the list.
