Foursquare for BlackBerry has been updated to version 1.5. There still isn’t any love for BlackBerry Storm users, however, you can get 1.5 to work (sort of) if you disable compatibility mode. If you aren’t on a Storm, or Storm2, version 1.5 adds the ability to add friends and tips.
You can download Foursquare for BlackBerry by visiting http://foursquare.com/blackberry/beta from your devices BlackBerry Browser.
I can’t understand the “problem” with the storm, they are a lot of Android Touch users… if the Touch is the problem.
Android is a completely different OS. Foursquare just needs to write a version of the application specifically for the BlackBerry Storm and Storm2.
Writing a stable & bug-free application for BlackBerry OS isn’t a walk in the park. I think if you were to succeed in that, then writing an app for all other platforms would be a walk in the park.
I know Robb, I have only compared to similar ways of input if this is the problem, no the systems that, obsviously, are different.
But considering there is a BB app yet, why not a storm version? what cause this delay?
