The highly anticipated cloud storage service, Google Drive, is now available and offering 5 gigabytes of cloud based storage free to anyone who signs up.
You can currently access Google Drive via desktop clients for PC and Mac, the web, and smartphone apps for Android and iOS.
My question to RIM is will we see a native Google Drive app for the BlackBerry anytime soon?
With Google pulling other apps from BlackBerry already, I would say no.
It’s possible though with an eventual release of BlackBerry 10, things might change.
I would hope that RIM would develop an app on behalf of Google if Google doesn’t just do it themselves.
There are a lot of BlackBerry users on Gmail that will want access to Google Drive…
Can ANY BB device handle a G-drive product as well/graciously/seamlessly as an Android, iOS or Windows? It is pretty pathetic. It’s too bad I have four BB’s in the family.
