Now that the BlackBerry 7130c is available from Cingular, T-Mobile users that just have to have the latest and greatest devices will wait about 4 days for the T-Mobile 7130g to be announced before they start buying 7130cs at full price and popping their T-Mobile SIM cards into them trying to get them to work on their network.
We haven’t heard the term “period of exclusivity” surrounding the launch of the BlackBerry 7130c and seeing how Sprint and Verizon in addition to Cingular have their 7130 models out we hope that it won’t be long before we see the BlackBerry 7130g from T-Mobile.
Just for the record, I don’t have a process for getting a BlackBerry 7130c to work on T-Mobile’s network, however, If someone comes up with one, I will gladly post it here.
There is no process. Once it’s unlocked and a T-Mobile SIM is put into it, it automatically registers with T-Mobile and you can use it. Login to T-Mobile’s BIS interface and it asks if you want to use that BB instead.
As for availability, I have no idea, but considering they just sold their 7105s at $99 until their is no or little stock, I’d say pretty soon.
If you are interested in using a BlackBerry 7130c on T-Mobile’s network you can unlock your BlackBerry over the air at GSM Phone Source for $40.on
