If memory serves me correctly it was towards the end of September, beginning of October last year that we started to see Verizon commercials featuring the BlackBerry Storm. I believe that the BlackBerry Storm was and is still the most hyped BlackBerry to date, Verizon branded or otherwise.
Based on the rumored release dates of the BlackBerry Storm 2, now is about the time that you would expect to start seeing advertising for a new device, however, I wonder, when it comes to the BlackBerry Storm 2, will Verizon kick the ole’ hype machine back into gear?
Yes I think they will
As I haven’t been able to reach blackberry support at Verizon for months without getting cut off of the phone line after 10 minutes it’s hard to accept that Verizon can be taken seriously on anything tech related–they can’t even get their phone system working correctly which is bitterly ironic.
Thanks goodness Storm 2 is coming out w/ AT&T as well, right? I’m outta here Verizon.
I think that a lot of estimates on when this thing is coming out are wrong. Some blogs even had it coming out this month. Seeing how the Storm 2 hasn’t even been officially announced yet there is no chance of that.
we won’t see the Storm 2 before the end of November at the earlist so that gives Verizon plenty of time to advertise…
Interesting story about crappy phones on America’s best network:

I think they will too, its in their best interest, I think the storm is now the #2 selling blackberry worldwide, of course the curve is still #1 plus so many different models. They will hype the hell out of it!
