TheCellularGuru.com was able to get their hands on live shots of the BlackBerry Bold 9800 Slider running the new WebKit based BlackBerry Browser. If BlackBerry 6 has any legs at all, this device will be a big hit.

You know, based on some recent pics that have come to light this weekend, I might like this phone. I would love it if that screen rotates in browser and allows a larger screen for browsing. Some of the specs I have read sound interesting. Now, the last hope is that it is not an exclusive because that would kill the deal for me. I can live with a limited head start, but no exclusive like the Storm & Storm 2. I wonder if the goal is to converge to 3 lines (Pearl – entry level/new to smartphone, Curve 2 – entry level/new to bb, & Bold – High Level)
Looks like the screen definitely rotates in landscape mode…
