It looks like RIM wasn’t just putting up a single TV spot getting the word out about BBM. They’ve launched a full blown BBM marketing campaign with multiple commercials.
Believe it or not, I actually use BBM to schedule hair cut appointments with my barber…
Is it just me, or, does it seem like the lackberry’s recent line of BBM commercials seem to be a direct response the FaceTime?
Maybe RIM should have run this promotion a few years ago when people still cared about lackberries…
You’ve got issues, Mate.
while i love my blackberry, it feels bad to see other mobile phone advance years ahead of blackberry phones. when i explain bbm to non bb users, they often say whats the point i can text?
EVERYONE says that until they try it. lol Hell, I didn’t use it for years. But, it’s one of those things that either you like you don’t. It comes down to how many people you know use it and where they are located. If you communicate with anyone not in your country, BBM is a cost saver.
It’s just a messaging app that can only be used w/ blackberries. It’s better than txt in the same way AIM, Y!, etc are. I use it daily. It’s fine, but definitely less useful than I’m, cuz it’s restricted to Blackberry. I bbm & txt equally. I’d rather use a universally technology.
