QuickPull, one of my all-time favorite apps and one of the 10 BlackBerry applications installed on my BlackBerry, has been updated to version 4. For those of you not familiar with QuickPull, it is a utility application that simulates pulling the battery out of your device allowing it to reset. QuickPull allows you to schedule regular battery resets and can even notify you when memory falls below a manually configurable threshold, asking you if you would like to reset your device to free up resources.

I upgraded this on both of my BlackBerry yesterday. They were both already running OS 5.0 and had QuickPull 3.7.2. It isn’t clear to me yet what exactly has been “enhanced” since the older version worked perfectly on both phones. But hey, gotta always have the latest version, right?
This is definitely a must download application especially if your BlackBerry is an a case that makes it difficult to get to your battery.
Question, I heard a rumor over on howard forums that OS 6 will have a memory manager in it that allows you to kill running processes without having to reset the battery. Can anyone confirm this?
Can someone tell me the difference between the free and the pro version? Does the pro just not have ads or does it actually have more features?
