I was taking a look at this recent BlackBerry commercial and I am torn on whether or not I like it.
My gut tells me that that it will appeal to people who already are, and, enjoy being BlackBerry users. I wonder, however, if it will appeal to folks who aren’t aren’t, namely new smartphone users who may not have recognized anything being done on that device less, maybe, texting (I know it is BBM).
Does this BlackBerry Commercial hit its mark? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments…
Clearly the BlackBerry is the best device for looking at Origami…
I think this commercial was trying to be like iPhone commercials from a year or so ago, but, it fails to show the everyday type of stuff that you can do with a BlackBerry…
Any commercial from RIM is a good commercial 🙂 considering their marketing is poor at best and limited to the carriers to do the heavey lifting
I wish they would take a page from the ATandT commercial, hilarious. This would break the ‘engineered feel’ of RIM.
Submitted on my sweet BB 9900
It covers some of the basic functions of the device while getting the BlackBerry name out there – more than what RIM has been doing! I own a Bold 9900 and love it!
I think it was elegantly done. Not over the top or in your face. I don’t see anything wrong with it. Maybe it doesn’t scream “hey iPhone users, come over here”, but could attract new smartphone users.
