Verizon has yet to officially announce their intention to carry the BlackBerry Bold 9930 or the BlackBerry Torch 9850, but, that hasn’t stopped rumors and speculation about the BlackBerry Curve 9370 hitting Verizon’s network from spreading around the web. The latest rumor is that the BlackBerry Curve 9370 will launch on Verizon September 8th and that the lower end cousin to the BlackBerry Bold 9930 is actually 4G capable.
I don’t know about you, but, for me the date of the potential launch of the BlackBerry Curve 9370 isn’t as important as the the possibility of the device being 4G. Personally, I am very skeptical about the Curve 9370 being 4G. This would mean that the device would operate on Verizon’s LTE network, which, from what we’ve heard, the higher end BlackBerry Bold 9930 does not.

This is nothing but someone’s Word doc. It’s apparently very easy to create “insider screen shots” or “roadmaps” and get them to go viral on the tech sites, who blindly eat them up!
I can assure you VZW will have the 9930 as I have been testing one from RIM for over a month and it is VZW branded. It is not LTE capable but is very thin and fast for a BlackBerry. I doubt the Curve would be LTE if this Bold is not.
The new 9930 is capable of running on the LTE capable and there is no confirmed release of the Curve 9370. The new Torch will only be available on GSM networks such as AT&T.
