For all of you Fantasy Football addicts out their, Yahoo has released Y! Fantasy Football ’09 on BlackBerry App World.
Features of the Y! Fantasy Football ’09 app include:
- Live Scoring: Free this year! Follow your team as the games happen – in real time.
- Roster Management: Quarterback injured? No problem. Bench him and start your backup right from your phone.
- Add and drop players: No longer happy with your running back? Simple. Drop him from your team and search for a new one.
- Matchups: Not sure who you play next week? No need to stop what you’re doing, just grab your BlackBerry and check.
My one complaint is that Yahoo Fantasy Football for BlackBerry is only supported on Bold, Curve 8900, and Tour. They need to come out with a version for every BlackBerry with a trackball, trackpad, or touchscreen. If, however, you have one of these devices and play Fantasy Football on Yahoo Sports, it is pretty much a no brainer that you should dowload Y! Fantasy Football ’09 immediately.
Check it out over on BlackBerry App World…
my login not working, any one else have problems logging in?
My login worked originally, but I am no longer able to login. I have been using the same login and password as I use to login to the webpage (which works fine), but the blackberry app will not accept it.
Go to m.yahoo.com/fantasy if you can not have a BB that supports the app. So far it has a bunch of bug in it. You really cant edit your roster even though it says you have that option.
“Yahoo also announced Yahoo Fantasy Football for Mobile. This application is available for the iPhone/iPod Touch and the BlackBerry Bold, Tour and 8900 series. Using this application, football fans can manage their teams from their phones, add and drop players, view match-ups and player stats, and get news and expert advice.”

So are they going to make it available for the BB Storm?
Sure looks nice, too bad it doesn’t work.
