We’ve known for a little while now that the BlackBerry Curve 8900 is coming to T-Mobile, however, there really hasn’t been that much chatter about the device coming to AT&T.
At least this was the case until Michael York posted a pic of that he took at the BlackBerry booth a CES on his blog which was picked up by BGR followed by Engadget Mobile, and then pretty much the rest of earth.
So the big questions are:
1. When will it come out?
2. How much will it cost?
3. Will it outshine the Bold?
1. Who cares? It’s not Touchscreen and it’s not an “iPhone Killer.”
2. It’s going to cost a lot. If you have an older model Curve I’d hang on to it.
3) The Bold and Curve are already looking old to me thanks to the Storm.
I care because I already have an iPod Touch and I use a blackberry for work. I am on AT&T so getting the Storm is out, but, if typing on it is anything like typing on an iPhone or iPod Touch, I would get a regular Blackberry with a keyboard anyway.
I am actually with JWill on this one. I have been using the first iPhone since the second day it came out back in 07. I am ready to swicth to a BlackBerry though and just use the iPhone as an iPod. I have been using this old BlackBerry 8700 for work for the passed few months and it is so much easier to text and to send email. When my plan is up i am going to get the latest BlackBerry and keep my iPhone to play music and watch videos.
The comparing to the iphone is just ridiculous, it’s a Berry! When it comes to texting or email, a Berry will win every time! Just 2 totally different devices, comparing a storm I can understand, but the new 8900??
I have a question. My girlfriend was using a BlackBerry Curve on AT&T but has moved to Verizon and now has the BlackBerry Storm. Can I take the SIM out of my iPhone and put it into her old BlackBerry Curve and make calls and send text or would I have to get some type of BlackBerry service turned on on my account?
Not only AT&T, it’s coming to Vodafone D2 in Europe too…
